These medical assessments are required by the Offshore, Oil & Gas industry to ensure an individual’s fitness to work within a specialist environment and are produced to meet the needs and requirements of the employer
The Certificate is now accepted by the Norwegian and Dutch Authorities as equivelant to those countries Certificates of fitness for offshore work. The certificate is sometimes required as proof of fitness to work on related land based and remote site projects/installations.
Successful applicants are provided with an Offshore Energies UK or previously Oil & Gas UK Certificate of fitness on successful completion of the medical.
The certificate is valid for 2 years unless medical circumstances require that a time limited certificate of lesser duration should be issued.
Please bring the following:
Photographic identification, eg passport or driving licence.
Spectacles or lenses if worn. Lenses will need to be removed to test vision with correction.
Details of prescribed or regular medication.
Contact details of your own GP or any specialist you may be under.
