HSE Asbestos Medicals in Norwich and East Anglia

Dr Sean Holt is an appointed HSE Doctor and can perform licensed and Non licensed Asbestosis Medicals.
Work with asbestos is regulated by the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR), this places a duty of care on employers to maintain a health record for employees who are involved in with asbestos. If you are self-employed and work directly with asbestos, you are responsible for organising your own asbestos medical.

Licensed Asbestos Medical: These medicals are taken every 2 years.

Non-Licensed (NNLW) Asbestos Medical: These medicals are taken every 3 years.

Fees

Both licensed and Non licensed Asbestosis Medicals cost £145 and are both conducted by Dr Sean Holt.

Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays at Thorpe End Clinic.

FAQs

The medical will include:
1. A medical questionnaire for you to complete.
2. Clinical examination of your heart, lungs and hands.
3. Lung function testing or Spirometry, this is mandatory part of the assessment.

A successful applicant will receive the HSE certification on the day and the employer will receive a copy to keep in the records.

In the rare circumstances that there are any issues with your health or a chest X-ray is indicated, you are very likely to be referred to your GP for further assessment.
